I know how it feels to be like one of my forefathers who came across the ocean to start something great. My grandfather had constructed a family tree that followed my lineage back to the 1400s. I went to one church in downeast Maine for my Uncle’s memorial service and there were rainbow flags all over the church. The pastor was a lesbian dyke that quoted from the Babylonian Talmud.
My recommendation is to study the Bible daily on your own and pray to God at least daily and repent for your sins. It is best to form small intimate groups of like minded Christian believers for Bible study and prayer at anybody’s house. Stay out of the mainstream churches. The Holy spirit will teach you the bible and knowledge about God’s will.
The essence of true Christianity is to be dead to this world but alive to the next. Death is merely transfiguration and our time in this world is to prepare for the next world with Christ. Imitating Christ while we are here is the ultimate goal.

One of my houses in Shenandoah County had an HVAC drain issue that was flooding the basement, so I called out an HVAC technician guy to fix the problem. I never spoke with him before, but he seemed like a very nice sort of person. He was in his thirties and he was a like-kind individual. He coordinated his appointment with my tenant and fixed the matter right away. Since there were no repairs that were needed, he refused to take my money. When I relented I told him I was a Jesus man and that as a Jesus man I thanked him dearly. He then told me that he was as well and that his son is attending the local Christian academy in town. He was in the military for 6 years and they taught him all there is to know about HVAC. He’s licensed now, runs his own business, and he’s also a union member. When I told him my age, he addressed me by sir. We spoke for a few minutes on the phone and I told him how I don’t really mention to others in business about my beliefs since many people will take it the wrong way. He agreed as he mentioned that it’s getting much harder to talk about Christian beliefs without being castigated and potentially losing business.
I never would have had this situation in PG County, which is a county populated by reprobate money grabbers.
I told him he will be hearing from me again soon as now I can be more ambitious in my purchases and he can do all my HVAC work throughout the county.

One of my best fiends is an atheist who has helped me so much over the years. About 30 years ago he was the catalyst that launched my current career because he sold my skills to his supervisors. I worked out and didn’t make him look bad. Although he says he’s an atheist I believe he is mistaken. Even the devil believes in God. Christ teaches to hate the sin but not the person committing the sin because one day that person can repent and become like a saint.

An email showed up in my inbox today talking about the economy. It’s the same informative message put out by a local mortgage lender. In short, he suggests a recession is very likely this October / November because of the inverter yield curve. Historically post WWII there has always been a recession 5-17 months after the first yield curve inversion pops up, with 12 months being the average.
With all the news of the bleeding commercial real estate market and how values have tanked 70%, I wonder if a recession is right on time for developers to get bargain basement prices on vacant office buildings. I said it long ago that these buildings will become housing one way or another. Whether through tear down or remodel. But no one is going to pay top dollar for them. A crisis must happen to meet the objective.
My own concern economically is the new house I just bought. I hope to not regret it. The good news is by buying this place I will soon trade renting space to a mortgage pretty much dollar for dollar. As long as I can stay in business things should be good. And the mortgage is about $2300.00 / mo. so not bad.
The UST yield curve is inverted, because of Federal Reserve intervention. It’s because of quantitative easing. When it comes to gauging the economy and the asset markets, it’s a straightforward process to determine that longer bond yields are more influential over economic activity than the short-term rates.
I’m not truly concerned how the overnight paper yields, but I’m concerned on longer dated paper. With the 10-year US Treasury still yielding less than the price inflation measures, I see no reason to consider any recession.
The problem with these so-called economists is that they take economic and financial market behavior from before QE and extrapolate that out until today. We are in a new realm in which traditional economic and financial market measures no longer apply.
Just based on how price inflationary measures are underreported, I do not see any imminent recession, nor have I ever since covid. In essence, we have a buffer of at least two percentage points. In other words, if real GDP is clocking in at 2%, that essentially means GDP is 0%, due to the underreporting of inflation.
The Federal Reserve is essentially come out and guaranteed everything, and they have the ability to do it since their owners also control the media. They control Bloomberg, CNBC, MarketWatch, and Dow Jones, etc., And they have conditioned investors to be well acclimated to today’s bizarro world of investing and economic function.
Thus, this current economic system is a very viable one, because investors around the world deem it to be so. So I say to sit back and relax; that’s as long as you own assets. People who don’t own assets don’t matter anyway.

“There’s been no break in the receipt of offers — at and even above the $1.225 billion price,” Michael Fay, with broker Avison Young, said in an emailed statement.
The 15.5-acre parcel, the site of the old Miami Herald building, is one of the largest undeveloped stretches of the city’s waterfront. Genting, which once wanted to build a casino there, bought it for about $236 million in 2011.
A previous agreement to sell the property to a local developer fell through in June.

What type of law are you referring to? Common law remedy on which the nation was founded or uniform commercial code on which it’s largely based today?
The great non sequitur of the NT only Christians; since the New Testament doesn’t contain anything regarding how we live our lives with respect to nation states and the forms of government, then we’re free to do whatever we want. A contract is not a covenant and a covenant is not a contract, those are separate and distinct things and that has been pointed out on this site many times in the past. An everlasting covenant with God has no time limit and is in fact everlasting. Besides, Paul said waning and not expired. This is very clear to me, but as you point out people who work with contracts/agency/torts and sometimes even encounter covenants can easily see what you mean.

When we observe our government officials, police, corporate leaders, etc… we do see how they view us as the enemy. I don’t want to argue or debate that, it’s never been successful in a courtroom setting, yet it is accurate in describing what we are.
We are all corporate strawmen now and common law remedy, used exclusively, is a thing of the past. We are all bound under contract law. If you are in the court, you need to definitively invoke the Constitution as your appointed Court representative which is your attorney will not. He is more friendly to the judge and the system than to you, even if you’re paying him a royal ransom.
Let me draw an analogy for you. When you drive down a street and you see a sign for a red light camera, your continued driving down that street is your consent to be potentially photographed and fined. If you don’t consent to it, through contract law, you have the ability to turn around and go the other way. When you see a stop sign, you are contracting out to the legal jurisdiction that you will obey that stop sign. It is implied consent and a bilateral contract, and with you driving your car you are continually bound under contract law to behave a certain way.
When it comes to God, you are bound by a contract with regards to the formulation of that nation state. If you don’t like that nation state because it’s turned its back on the contract formulated with God, you are free to leave that nation.
When God builds a nation it holds all of its citizens, regardless of their ostensible ignorance, liable for the terms of the contract. This is why I say that ignorance is no excuse under the law. God gave us the Bible as an instruction manual and if someone refuses to acknowledge this set of instructions outlining this contract, for whatever reason, I refer you back to the number one axiom of contract law; ignorance is no excuse under the law. The typical Christian today tells us that the OT laws no longer apply, but that clearly is hogwash. Whether or not you like that thought is irrelevant. The proof is in the pudding, and a country like the United States that was built on the God of Israel in this physical realm is now under judgment in which the terms of the punishment are outlined in the Old Testament. Just because you refuse to read the transcripts of the speeches and testaments given by the formulators of this country going back 300 to 400 years is no excuse. They clearly made a contract with the God of Adam and Jacob.
There certainly is common law remedy in the courts, at least in theory. But if you were going to be held under common law you wouldn’t have a Social Security number nor would you have contracted into any financial contracts, including owning your own home.

The law is Holy and Good – and it’s profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness. Transgression of the law = sin. That’s written in the New Testament. Either sin or obedience which leads to right standing with God.

Anyone who has been a student of early American history understands of the contract these founders made with the God of the Bible. The entire Bible is important. The Creator has laws. Accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior isn’t a ticket to live how you want. The Scriptures talk about it’s better to have not known Lord Jesus then to accept his Grace; and go back to being entangled to the sin of the world:

What a person defines as sin – may not be sin to God. What a person thinks is sin – may be a sin to God. That’s why it’s important to study and know the Scriptures. Teachers are not doing a good job of telling people the contract. It’s not simply a sinner’s prayer and you’re saved. There is Scripture, however, that supports “once saved always saved.” Lord Jesus says whomever the Father brings to me – I will not let them go astray. But it’s 100% not the way the modern church teaches it. Scripture talks about testing yourselves. Examining your faith. And that all of Creation is awaiting on the day when God reveals who is children really are. So unless Lord Jesus said to the pastor personally – my Father has put your congregation into my sheepfold and I will not allow them to go astray — he’s not being truthful when he says “Once saved always saved.” It’s a deception. There are many out there.
I find it interesting that our adversary follows the Talmud, Zohar, and Kabbalah, and these books instruct their leaders to take over certain peoples by defiling them in a way that is fulfillment of OT instructions. In other words, our adversary uses Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 to take us over. And from my vantage point, it seems they have been successful. So, do the Old Testament laws no longer apply? It seems they are still are very applicable to this temporal physical realm, at least for our adversary.

Here is the dilemma that today’s occupants of the geographic region known as the United States unwittingly face. No new lands to conquer. Look at the countries south of the United States; they’re all socialist command economies. I talked with an (American) guy who can’t afford groceries but I read that foreigners are being given $3,000.00 a month food allowance. The government is anti-American now. A friend worked in a pharmacy and had elderly Americans crying at the counter, unable to afford the $1,000+ pharmaceutical copays – while foreigners are handed Medicaid and pharmacy cards. Even up here in southern New Hampshire the housing market is crazy with bidding wars from buyers. I have also noticed houses in my town getting sold, yet nobody moves in. We were told by our packaging supplier that one of the paper items we purchase will be unavailable soon (indefinitely) due to the forest fires. It’s bread bag/sandwich wrap type paper – Subway, McDonalds, etc use this grade of paper to wrap sandwiches.
